Vintage Notes:
The 2024 vintage began with reasonable weather throughout bloom and set. During the sizing phase, we experienced very warm
weather that affected berry growth on many varietals. In mid-March, while harvest
slowed due to moderate temperatures, the prolonged ripening period-maintained
vine balance and higher fruit quality. Overall, the 2023 vintage delivered yields
slightly normal while upholding our desired fruit characteristics and quality. Picked
by hand during the last week of February.
Fermentation Notes
The fruit was harvested on March 6, 2023, at optimum ripeness. The grapes were hand-picked into 15-pound boxes and transported to the winery.
The whole-cluster was gentle press, then the juice was racked to stainless steel tank, fermented under temperature control.
The wine was soon after the
fermentation start the cold stabilization to preserve the refreshing acidity and fresh tasting.
